Ekeziel Azonwu • We Need to Heal

Ezekiel Azonwu is a visionary, spoken word artist, and prophetic voice for this generation known for his bold delivery, raw transparency, and unwavering commitment to truth. The son of Nigerian immigrants, Ezekiel has always made the most of every God-given opportunity, using his voice to break chains and provoke transformation.
A husband and father of five, Ezekiel is best known as the founder of The Poets in Autumn, the largest Christian poetry tour in history, and as the author of The Whole Man, a powerful book that calls men into Kingdom identity and maturity in Christ.
What began as a conversation with culture through We Need to Talk and We Need to Love has now evolved into a movement of deliverance and healing: We Need to Heal. Sparked by real stories of trauma, recovery, and redemption, this gathering was born out of Ezekiel’s burden to not just talk about healing, but to create a space where people could encounter it.
Through raw testimony, sound doctrine, and the power of the Holy Spirit, Ezekiel is helping lead a generation back to Jesus, one broken chain at a time. His mission is simple: wholeness is possible, and freedom is available.

I feel very blessed that the Lord allowed me to not only attend but also serve at We Need to Heal, Dallas. I attended the November 2024 event in Atlanta, but Dallas was on a whole other level. Arriving in Dallas, I felt weighed down and stuck, like I could not reach levels spiritually, but could not figure out why. When I arrived in Dallas at WTNH, that weight was lifted, and each of these anointed ministers, poets, and prophetic teachers spoke life into my situation and the attendees of this conference. I quickly identified with the spiritual warfare that had been weighing me down: lust, pride, and the spirit of rejection that had plagued my life since being abandoned as a child. There were times when these things left me so exhausted, stagnant, and confused, but I was determined to get deliverance from these issues.
Each of the speakers from Ezekial Azonwu, William Jackson, Elsa Marley, Tiffany Butler, Janice Collins, Daniel McCord, Samuel Jordan, Ashton Ares, and Alexander Pagani, handled the attendees with care by guiding them through a multitude of strongholds in their lives. I had the privilege of being a part of the small group mass deliverance. At first, I felt like I could not breathe, and I wanted to cry out that I could not breathe, but I couldn’t and finally the release. I let go of some stuff that night, and my life has changed. My entire countenance has changed; my body language has improved from stiff and cold to smiles and excitement. I am forever grateful to God for deliverance and thank WNTH for recognizing that so many are shackled and in bondage by strongholds and sin.
